The Lobster Dip is our annual fundraiser held on New Years Day on Old Orchard Beach in front of The Brunswick. This year we are having two waves of dippers, 10:30am and 12:00pm. Participants raise money and then on New Years Day jump into the Atlantic Ocean together! This fundraiser is crucial in raising money and awareness for Special Olympics Maine!
Before dippers get into the water they go through a quick registration process. Since everyone has signed up online your role as registration volunteer is pretty straightforward: check that the dipper has registered and raised the minimum required to dip, give the dipper the corresponding code for their fundraising level to get their fundraising incentive, give the dipper their 2023 Lobster Dip T-Shirt.
