Central Maine Basketball is our state-level basketball competition featuring 5v5 games and individual skills stations. Join in on the fun and excitement while hundreds of athletes compete on unified and traditional teams and show off their individual basketball skills.
The competition is held Saturday, March 30th from 8:30am-2:30pm at The University of Maine in Orono.
We are looking for referees who will ref games in Special Olympics Maine’s double elimination bracketed style tournament. Games will be 20 minutes long and Special Olympics specific rules will be given out for review prior to the event. Knowledge of basketball rules is required however former experience refereeing is not.
